So my wife and I moved from a "Luxury Living" apartment to a walk out basement apartment of a house last weekend, and we actually like it a lot more. Of course we lost some features that were nice, but we now have a back yard (we're getting a fire pit propane grill later this month) and a nice quite street to live on. We've already met more neighbors here than at the apartment complex, too. There is a full size window in each room but the kitchen, and the whole apartment is nice and cool, unlike our last apartment, where my office had a large, south facing window that transformed just the office into a blistering inferno. Plus, we have been getting rid of so much stuff we had but never used, and if feels really liberating.
My publisher, Gnosis Comics, is trying something really innovative using Partreon as a comic subscription platform, You could get the comic I illustrate, plus 3 others, delivered to your doorstep monthly for just $7. Pretty freakin awesome, so check it out here: www.patreon.com/gnosiscomics?t…
Anyhow, I'm starting something new on my tumblr page (taylorcottingham.tumblr.com/) called Fan Art Friday, where I'll be posting a colored sketch every Friday. Timing on tumblr is more critical to getting exposure than it is here on DA, so I'll be posting the same images as I finish them, so while I'm mostly working on the comic, I will still be able to keep a weekly update on here.
Annnndddddd, here is the commission pricing info:
Black and White 8.5" x 11" $20
+$10 for color
B/W 11" x 17" $45
+ $15 for color

Glad you're happy there, sometimes less really is more.
Personally I'm thinking of starting a new gallery folder about my place called "Cheap for a Reason".
